Courage & Readiness

The Industrial Age gave us accessible goods and services, rapid medical innovation, and enhanced quality of life for the average person. It also gave us increased pollution and other environmental issues, poor working conditions, and a rise in unhealthy habits. Humanity is facing a cross roads and we're at risk of repeating history. The AI Age Every technological leap brings tradeoffs. The question isn't whether AI will change work. It's whether we'll make the same mistakes

If you’re a senior manager or executive watching your teams adopt AI, here’s what this 7-day build and 7 years of digital transformation, taught me about what you actually need to do. Stop waiting for perfect - don’t confuse speed with strategy The organisations falling behind aren’t the ones moving too fast. They’re the ones waiting for complete certainty before they act. A fully architected app with authentication, a cloud database, third party API integrations, and a subscription paywall. This three part series will cover the process I used to build the app, the risks and learnings, and how senior leaders can apply this in their AI adoption journey. But before I get to the how, let me tell you why. If you’ve worked with me then you’ll know on

Last year at the WA IT Leadership Summit, a panel conversation on digital priorities in education covered more than technology. The group discussed unequal access, the strain of constant online learning, and the growing value of communication and critical thinking skills. Looking back, those talks weren’t only about digital readiness. They were early lessons in how to prepare for the rise of AI. The same truths keep showing up: The divide isn’t technical - it’s human.
